As far as the summer of trilogies go... though Rush Hour 3 has not hit theaters- it is safe to say that the Bourne Ultimatum is the best. Better than Spidey 3, Pirates 3, Shrek 3 and Ocean's 13. Like damn. The Bourne Trilogy in general should be highy celebrated. Oddly enough this has been a great summer for movies and it's not even the movies we were looking forward to. I mean who knew that 28 weeks later would be so great and Spider Man and Pirates so disapointing? And Sunshine being a great movie- who fucking saw that coming?
On a different note- it's strange how you can perceive something one way and the next minute a different way. We are so fragile, each one of us easily hurt in one way or another but at the same time so powerful because we tread through our troubles and continue living. You make plans because that is what you are taught to do. But, what not everybody is told is that life will fuck with your plans. You will get screwed over or you will fuck up.Almost always. But it's important to make new plans. It's important to move on. That's what makes you strong.
I spend alot of my time reading these days. I finished the Harry Potter series and i have to say, though i never thought i would, that the last two books are really good. I think the last two books have vast potential to be great movies, the seventh more so than the sixth, I just wonder how they are going to fit so much stuff into the time span they need without leaving intricate parts out. I am now embarking on some of the works of Antoine De Saint-Exupery. I like him, he seems like a pretty cool fellow. The Little Prince is perhaps my favorite book; which, i get teased for. I am hoping i can enjoy some of his works half as much as the before mentioned.
A tree fell in my front yard and my mom asked me to move it. A tree..as if i was Christophorus or something. Anyways...
I tottaly fucked up my hand. It looks like my hand got caught in the middle of the fight between deathstrike and wolverine at the end of X2. Speaking of cool climatic fight scenes, that was about the only thing the harry potter movie had to offer.I might catch up on the books just to see how the whole ordeal ends.hhhmmm...
I have been sleeping to much lately. sleeping is a crutch.
I enjoy adapting. The world seems to be changing so rapidly lately and i love my responses... even though in a certain respect i shouldn't be proud. When things change and you think anything you do has to better than this and you make a bad choice, it is just pain and darkness. But realizing that you made a mistake and changing for the better..actually improving. that sheds light ...a corny way of putting it. But, in other respects i feel like i have been making alot of good choices lately.
Darwin said that it is not the strongest or the smartest that survive but those most adaptive to change. Hhmmm...
Later, Vader.
My sisters return from Germany in two days. I am excited but also frustrated. When they get back i will not have my own room, no privacy anywhere.uughh. They will tell of my of their several excursions and i will wallow in jealousy...i am happy for them though. My parents got to see Wicked in London. Get jealous, so i am not the only one. They bought me several atricles of clothing from France and England, for that i am super thankful. I really am happy that my parents got to do that.
so, i have aim now...youngjustin1987. Add me.
All for now.
It is my personal opinion that Roxanne, by the Police, is the supreme epic love story to to ever grace music. Therefore, to tell Roxanne to put on her Red light, as the Artic Monkeys so eloquently put it, is the most horrendous and offensive crime that one could commit. I really do hope that you are not involved at all.
I learned today that inside me exists the ability to dispose of dead animals and not regurgitate my food intake. You see, there was a rather large rat consuming the fresh air in our garage with the nauseating smell of it being dead and infested with maggots...so after obtainging masks for us wear my dad urged me to help him locate the source of the monstrously pesky smell. After searching under and knocking over various items and equipment inthe garage we found squeezed behing the rear wheel of our refrigator a lunchbox sized rat. Gag. Anyways my dad scurried off for air while i quickly scooped it up with a shovel and dropped in a trashbag.
I showered for over an hour. Yeppers...never doing that again.
Aside from that, my day was quite uneventful. My mom did make some scrumptious meatloaf. OOohhh...that reminds me, I have to learn how to make frito pie.It seems easy enough. I am vastly excited.
We live we love
We forgive and never give up
Cause the days we are given are gifts from above
And today we remember to live and to love
When i was younger and needed guidance my parents told me to go to the bible. I never got past adam and eve so i have a tenency to make that particular story a metaphor for everything...
I find it romantic that Adam ate the apple... i think i said this once before.
I have to say that Grey's Anatomy is just depressing. I am so over it. LOST may never answer anything, but Grey's just solves their problems with the most depressing answer they can find. Now, Housewives getting Desperate is the shit.
Anyways...Hawaii was a great experience.
